An introduction to playing TriPeaks Solitaire

Read the aim of TriPeaks Solitaire, then make your first move. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Check the rule that explains your first action. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

Give this approach a try

When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Use the example to check your reasoning.

What the game asks you to do

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Start with a deliberate move.

The order of play

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Check any mode label before starting.

Follow the example

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Check the stated objective.

Keep this in mind

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
